Frequently Asked Questions

Q. HOW CAN PAYPARTNERS BENEFIT MY BUSINESS?
A. PayPartners can eliminate the hassle and expense of paper payroll checks, T & E checks, per diem checks as well as eliminate the frustration and costs of replacing lost/stolen checks, reconciling payroll and reporting issues.

Q. HOW DOES INTRODUCING THE PAYCARD AFFECT MY CURRENT PAYROLL PROCESS?
A. If your company currently offers Direct Deposit to employees, there is NO difference between direct depositing to a bank checking account or to a pay card. The employee’s net pay is loaded to the card account through your standard payroll process.

Q. WHAT MARKETING AND IMPLEMENTATION SUPPORT DOES PAYPARTNERS PROVIDE TO EMPLOYERS?
A. A dedicated account manager will work with your company to define your program’s goals and to create a customer implementation plan. We provide ready-to-use promotional materials for use in your enrollment and communications. Using these tools, your account manager will listen to your unique payroll situation and advise you on strategies to introduce the program to new and existing employees.

Q. WHAT ARE THE CARDHOLDER FEES FOR THE PAYCARD?
A. Please refer to the fee schedule sheet.

Q. HOW DO EMPLOYEES CHECK THEIR CARD BALANCE?
A. There are several free ways:
  1. The employee can call the customer service phone number on the back of the card 24/7 and use the automated system in either English or Spanish to learn the current card account balance and the date/amount of the last pay.
  2. The employee can call the customer service phone number on the back of the card during business hours and speak with a live customer service agent in English or Spanish.
  3. If the employee has Web access, he/she can go to www.paypartners.com The above balance inquiry methods are free. A fourth way is for the cardholder to choose Balance Inquiry at the ATM machine; however, this method incurs a fee.
Q. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN EMPLOYEE LOSES THEIR CARD OR FORGETS THEIR PIN NUMBER?
A. The employee’s money is safe because a PIN number known only to the employee protects the PayCard. If the card is lost or stolen, the employee will inform you that they need a new card. Take a new card out of your card inventory, call PayPartners at 1-866-723-2273, and report the card lost/stolen, or a forgotten PIN. Have the employee available to speak to the agent. The employee may also call PayPartners directly.

Q. WHEN IS PAYROLL LOADED ONTO THE PAY CARD EACH PAYDAY?
A. It varies by employer, but funds are usually available no later than 9 am EST on payday.
